The semester has already started, and we’d like to invite you to participate in our project POLYGLOT CAFÉ.

POLYGLOT CAFÉ is a project that has been running for the last three years. We have received fantastic feedback from students and participants, so we have decided to continue.

We will form a group of up to six Slovenian students. Your mission is to teach them your native language in a non-formal, fun way!

WHEN AND WHERE?

The project will start at the end of October and finish in January. You will need to organise 10 meetings for Slovene students, preferably online through MS TEAMS. If you all agree, you can also organise them face-to-face. The meetings should be organised once a week.

HOW IT WORKS?

At the beginning of the project, you will receive a list of your students.  It is your duty to inform them about the meetings and send them a link to your online meeting at the beginning of each week. Further on, you will receive a list of participation from your students. After each meeting you need to update the list of participation. In the attachment, we are also sending you the topics and instructions for the event. Please read the instructions carefully.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Are you a talkative person who likes to meet new people?

Would you like to teach other students your language and tell them about your culture?

AWARD

Each Erasmus student will receive an award of 40,00 EUR and a certificate with 3 ECTS credits for the successfully implemented Polyglot Café.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

We kindly ask you to apply by  15 March 2024. After the deadline we will send the applications to all Slovene students. You will receive a list of your students with further instructions to your e-mail.
