Károli Gáspár University in University of Szeged iz Madžarske organizirata za študente poletno šolo z naslovom: ‘Society, State and Culture in Central Europe’.

This summer, Károli Gáspár University and University of Szeged are organising a summer university titled ‘Society, State and Culture in Central Europe’.

The summer university will be held from July 3-9 of this year, and will take place in both Budapest and Szeged, with lectures and discussions concerning the role of culture in a modern society – a detailed list of which you can find in the attached pamphlet. The programme was designed in such a way that it leaves ample free time for participants to enjoy their stay in the cities.

Within the framework of the Summer University, the participants can get acquainted with the culture of Hungary, the capital often referenced as the Pearl of Europe, and the sights of the southern Great Plain city of Szeged, where the applicants can also visit one of the most important open-air exhibition and memorial in Hungary, the National Historical Memorial Park in Ópusztaszer.

The fee of the course – not including travelling costs – is 150 EUR, a price we find is reasonable. The programme rewards 3 ECTS Credits to all students who participate.
