SUMMER SCHOOLS

The BIP brought together students from diverse academic backgrounds to explore contemporary challenges at the intersection of organization, management, technology, and society. Through a combination of online and on-site activities, participants engaged with topics such as enterprise engineering, generative artificial intelligence, teamwork and organizational psychology, communication, sustainability, marketing, human resource management, user experience design, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. The programme provided an interdisciplinary perspective on how organizations adapt to technological and societal change.

A central component of the programme was the international case study competition, in which students worked in multidisciplinary teams to analyse a real-world challenge and propose innovative solutions. Throughout the programme, participants attended expert lectures and interactive workshops, developed their problem-solving and analytical skills, and applied newly acquired knowledge to practical tasks. Special attention was given to emerging topics such as agentic AI, responsible use of artificial intelligence, Society 5.0, user-centred design, cybersecurity, and the environmental impact of digital technologies.

The programme combined academic learning with experiential and collaborative activities, including visits to local organizations, networking events, and intercultural exchange. By working with peers and lecturers from several European universities, students gained valuable experience in international teamwork, professional communication, and project development. The programme concluded with team presentations of case study solutions, allowing participants to showcase their creativity, critical thinking, and ability to address complex organizational and societal challenges.
