Application for Erasmus+ traineeship at Faculty of the Health Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine

Application for study year 2025/2026 is open!

APPLICATION DEADLINES: Students should arrange all the neccessary documentation at least one month before the start of the traineeship.

Please proceed in line with the following steps:

  1. Application form and Learning Agreement

    Students who are assigned to the Faculty of Health Sciences or the Faculty of Medicine have the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ traineeship.

    To begin the process, you must first register at:
    https://incomingstudents.um.si/

    After completing your registration, you are required to submit a Learning Agreement for Traineeship. We also accept the version provided by your home institution.

    Please ensure that:

    • Course names and codes exactly match those listed in the official course catalogue.

    • ECTS credits are consistent with the course catalogue.

    • The Learning Agreement is signed by you and approved by your home institution before submission.

  2. Request a Transcript of Records and Certificate of vaccination from your home university. The transcript can be in any form, but it must be in English, and it must be signed and stamped by the responsible person at your home faculty.

    Applicants for a Traineeship at the Faculty of Medicine must provide a Certificate of Vaccination and a Statement of Health as part of the application process.

    Applicants for a Traineeship at the Faculty of Health Sciences must provide a Certificate of Vaccination as part of the application process.

  3. We require an English knowledge certificate; you need to achieve a minimum of B1 in line with CEFR.

    We accept a certificate that states your English language knowledge level, signed and stamped by an English teacher from your home institution.

    We also accept any English language certificate you might have.

    The University of Maribor staff reserves the right to check your English knowledge. In case your knowledge of English is questionable and you are not able to follow the study process, we can terminate your Erasmus exchange in Maribor.

  4. Complete the form CLAIM FOR ESTABLISHING UNIQUE PERSONAL NUMBER – EMSO NUMBER .

    PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FILL OUT ALL THE REQUIRED FIELDS CORRECTLY!

  5. Send the fully completed Learning agreement for Traineeships with all the other requested documents (all together they are 6) to responsible faculty coordinator at the University of Maribor:

    The Learning Agreement for Traineeships must be signed and stamped by you and your home institution. After we receive confirmed Learning Agreement from you, our faculty coordinators will check the subjects and infrom you about the acceptance.

  6. OLA

    Students who are coming on Erasmus Traineeship should not fill out Online Learning Agreement. Online Learning Agreement is used only for Erasmus studies!

  7. List of all required documents:

    It must be sent by your home Erasmus coordinator or with your coordinator in copy to the email of responsible faculty coordinator at the University of Maribor:

    All documents except CLAIM FOR ESTABLISHING THE UNIQUE PERSONAL NUMBER – EMŠO NUMBER (in WORD format) have to be in PDF format.

    Your documents will be reviewed by the main International Relations Office and by the selected host faculty. If you are accepted for Erasmus Traineeship at the University of Maribor, we will send you an Acceptance Letter.
