Application for programme countries

Application for study year 2024/2025 is open!


APPLICATION DEADLINES: 
WINTER SEMESTER: 15TH  JUNE
SUMMER SEMESTER: 15TH OF NOVEMBER

Please proceed in line with the following steps:

  1. First, you have to register at: https://studentexchange.um.si/ADPrijava.aspx. You start the registration procedure in the window on the right. For more information, follow the Application Instructions

    Students for Erasmus+ Traineeship at the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Health Sciences should follow the application procedure at the following website: Application for Erasmus+ Traineeship

  2. ​​Complete the electronic Application Form and select courses (Learning Agreement).

    When choosing courses, pay attention to selected subjects from your study field and your host faculty at the University of Maribor.

    A list of faculty coordinators can be found at the following website: https://www.erasmusplus.um.si/koordinatorji/

    If you cannot find all the necessary courses at your host faculty, you can choose the courses from maximum one other faculty. The majority of chosen courses must be from your host faculty.

    Note: Students who study at faculties that are not located in Maribor (Faculty of Logistics, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Energy Technology, Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security) must choose all the subjects from their major faculty!

    Please pay attention that you choose only courses available in your semester of studies!

    Your Application Form with the Learning Agreement must be signed by a responsible person at your home institution.

  3. Request a Transcript of Records from your home institution. The transcript can be in any form, but it must be in English, and it must be signed and stamped by the responsible person at your home institution.

  4. We require an English knowledge certificate; you need to achieve a minimum of B1 in line with CEFR.

    We accept a certificate that states your English language knowledge level, signed and stamped by an English teacher from your home institution.

    We also accept any English language certificate you might have except the OLS test. Printed results of your OLS test are therefore not valid!

    The University of Maribor staff reserves the right to check your English knowledge. In case your knowledge of English is questionable and you are not able to follow the study process, we can terminate your Erasmus exchange in Maribor.

  5. Complete the form CLAIM-FOR-ESTABLISHING-UNIQUE-PERSONAL-NUMBER-–-EMSO-NUMBER

    PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FILL OUT ALL THE REQUIRED FIELDS CORRECTLY!

  6. Send us the fully completed Application Form with all the other requested documents (all together they are 5) to incoming.erasmus@um.si.

    The Learning Agreement must be signed and stamped by you and your faculty coordinator. After we receive the LA from you, our faculty coordinators will check the subjects. If your LA is confirmed, you will receive an official acceptance letter.

  7. OLA

    In case your institution requires OLA, we can sign it on your request or on the request of your institution.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    – Receiving institution: choose the country (Slovenia) then University of Maribor and your faculty you will attend at our institution. The name and email address of your responsible person at school is the name of your Faculty coordinator. List of the faculty coordinators can be found here: KOORDINATORJI – Erasmus+ (um.si)

    – Receiving responsible person: Mandatory write Jaka Zapečnik and email incoming.erasmus@um.si.

  8. DISSABILITIES

    In case you need an adjustment in time of your studies at the University of Maribor, please, let us know in the time of application procedure.

    Students with dissabilities may send us a proof of medical condition or statement from home university with the description of special needs in the time of application procedure! 

  9. List of all required documents:

    It must be sent by your Erasmus coordinator or with your coordinator in copy to the following email address: incoming.erasmus@um.si.

    All documents except CLAIM FOR ESTABLISHING THE UNIQUE PERSONAL NUMBER – EMŠO NUMBER (in WORD format) have to be in PDF format.

    Your documents will be reviewed by the main International Relations Office and by the selected host faculty. If you are accepted for Erasmus study at the University of Maribor, we will send you an Acceptance Letter and confirm your Learning Agreement.
