Sustainability in International Business is an international Blended Intensive Programme organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Maribor, focused on sustainability as a core aspect of international business. The BIP took place from 8 to 13 September 2025. The programme combined virtual and in-person activities, including interactive lectures, workshops, case studies, and professional excursions.
The virtual session introduced students to sustainability concepts, international business practices, implementation strategies, indicators, and global best practices, with case studies from companies such as Unilever, Patagonia, Google, IKEA, and Nestlé. Students also engaged in quizzes, brainstorming activities, and discussions to enhance understanding of sustainable business strategies.
