13TH INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS SUMMER SCHOOL: SIMULATE THE FUTURE OF SUPPLY CHAINS FROM DIGITAL TWINS TO REAL DECISIONS

13TH INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS SUMMER SCHOOL: SIMULATE THE FUTURE OF SUPPLY CHAINS FROM DIGITAL TWINS TO REAL DECISIONS
ERASMUS +BIP

On-site programme: 14–21 July 2026
Virtual component: 7 July 2026
Organisation: Faculty of Logistics
Venue: Celje
ECTS: 3

What if you could test decisions before they happen?

In a world of disruption and uncertainty, supply chains can no longer rely on intuition. This summer school explores how simulation, data, and digital twins enable better, faster, and more reliable decision-making.

About the programme

The programme brings together students from different countries to explore contemporary challenges in supply chains. It combines theoretical insights with hands-on work, focusing on simulation, modelling, and data-driven approaches.

What you will do:

  • develop simulation models
  • test disruption scenarios
  • explore digital twins
  • analyse system performance
  • support decision-making with data

Experience

Participants work in international teams, engage in practical workshops, collaborate on real-world challenges, and experience Slovenia through organised activities.

What you will gain:

  • understanding of supply chain behaviour under uncertainty
  • ability to model and simulate complex systems
  • skills in interpreting results and evaluating decisions
  • confidence in applying data to real-world problems
