The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Maribor is organising an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme “Diagnostics in Gynaecology”, which will take place in Maribor, Slovenia.

This intensive programme is designed for senior medical students to develop essential clinical reasoning skills and enhance their critical thinking in various gynecological scenarios. The workshop includes both virtual and face-to-face components.

The virtual part, starting on 1 April 2025 and lasting until 30 June 2025, will focus on assessing students’ prior knowledge and fostering clinical decision-making through interactive online sessions. It will also introduce the tools and platform used during the physical part of the workshop.

The in-person sessions will be organized around key diagnostic techniques in modern gynecology, including ultrasound, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and colposcopy. Each day will combine expert lectures with hands-on clinical practice, patient interaction, and simulator-based training in small groups.

After the workshop, students’ progress will be reassessed through the online platform to evaluate the impact of the training and compare it to their initial knowledge level.
